What this world needs a few more rednecks...

What this world needs is a few more redneck. Some people who ain't afraid to take a stand. What this world needs is a little more respect for the Lord and the law and the workin' man. We could use a little peace and satisfaction. Some good people up front to take the lead. A little less talk and
a little more action. And a few more rednecks is what we need.

I was raised on beans and cornbread and I like my chicken fried. Yes I drive a pickup truck and I'm full of American pride. I keep a Bible on my table. I got a flag out on my lawn. And I don't believe in mindin' no one's business but my own.

And I love them Rambo movies. I think they make a lot of sense. And it's a shame ol' John Wayne didn't live to run for president.

And I don't care what nobody says I don't trust ole Gorbachev. And I don't know who turned him on
but it's time to turn him off.

Now they're tryin' to take my guns away and that would be just fine. If you take 'em away from the criminals first, I'll gladly give ya mine. And I don't mind payin' taxes but it makes my temper itch. When my hard earned money goes to make some politician rich.

What most people call a redneck ain't nothin' but a workin' man. And he makes his livin' by the sweat of his brow and the calluses on his hands. Now you intellectuals may not like it but there ain't nothin' that you can do, cause there's a whole lot more of us common-folks then there ever will be of you.

Makin' my dream come true...kinda...

Everyone has a dream in life. I have always had a dream that I want to be the most amazing surfer ever! It kinda looks scary but I am willing to try when I get the chance! I probably won't become as amazing as I want to but at least I will get to try and have fun! I decided to see what I would look like on a surfboard. So I put together a layered picture using Adobe Photoshop. I think I look pretty stylish standin' on that board. Don't you?

Most epic wish ever...11:11 on 11/11/11...

I know I am a little late on this because it is almost Thanksgiving and I am pumped!
So on the date of 11/11/11, Krystle and I were hangin' out at the house gettin' ready to take a picture holding the calendar with the date 11/11/11 circled and holding a clock that said 11:11 on it. We took a couple test runs with the self timer thing on the camera so we were sure not to miss it!
Meanwhile, Krystle is looking up funny youtube videos and I look at the clock and it says 11:11!
I yelled at Krystle to get her behind over here and take a picture before it changes. So we take a pic...and something went wrong that the flash was so bright so you couldn't see us! Ahhhh!
So we tried again quick! You couldn't even see the time! UGH stupid camera!
So next, we just took a pic of the calendar next to my iHome...
We ran upstairs to mom and dads clock!...We took a picture! We looked at it and well...it didn't turn out to well as you can see...
So we ran to the stove clock and it was still 11:11! Krystle stuck her face in there so we ended up kinda gettin' it I guess!
I think both of us forgot to even make a wish. Ah well! :)

Football...

Starting the beginning of this school year, I have really been into football (more than i ever have). I learned how the game works so I can actually clap at the right time during a game!

I have been to almost every DL football game and 1 Frazee game. Unfortunatly, Frazee lost, and it was there homecomeing too so that was a bummer.

DL has done very good! I mostly enjoy going so i can hang out with friends and take pictures and drink cappachinos! I also like to pay attention to see if #23, #27, or especially #87 go in to play. I wear red and white,  #87's jersey and cheer my heart out! You are probably wondering who #87 is...well...its not important :) jk, it's my friend Brock Johnson.

Me and Megan always sit together in the stands while I creep on #87 and she creeps on her #27, which is Hunter Schleske ;) (she wears his jersey of course).

So, I am not a real big sports player most of the time. But I did play a game of football today with a bunch of friends at Brock's house. Megan and I were the bomb diggity! (sarcasm...just a little)

I mostly ran back and forth trying my hardest but not quite succeeding.

Megan on the other hand was coachin' the team. "I want some action!", she says.

Too bad there's not a girls football team, eh? :)

How to Catch a Rabbit...

Rachel's Plan A:
1. Locate rabbit in front of cage door.
2. Sneak around back so rabbit doesn't see.
3. when rabbit looks, freeze in place.
4. run towards rabbit.

Rachel's turnout:
- leaves crackle beneath feet
- rabbit runs opposite direction into woods

Rachel's Plan B:
1. Locate rabbit.
2. Tie fresh carrot to string and tie string to wrist for support.
3. Focus on target.
4. Throw carrot connected to string, connected to wrist.

Rachel's Turnout:
- horrible throw
- rabbit sniffs carrot
- Rachel tried pulling back and carrot gets stuck in branches
- rabbit runs away

Mom's Plan A:
1. See rabbit in cage and shut door.

Mom's turnout:
- rabbit safely back in cage

Annie :)

We have a new addition to our crazy family! As you may know, our black lab (Bloo) was hit on the road awhile ago. :( So today, mom went and picked up our new baby puppy! She is a black lab/german shepherd mix and about...yay...tall (5 inches maybe?).
Zoey LOVES her! They have played like all day! Annie is funny when she runs and jumps, cuz she is kinda floppy (if ya know what i mean:)). She also pees when she gets nervous, so when you come around, don't hold her "right" away.
She already is in love with our family :)
I sure hope she stays safe and off of the road!

All because of Max...

The little boy i babysit (babysat) found a caterpillar on the sidewalk when he was playing at our house. He brought it and showed me and said, "What should I do with it?" "Can i keep it?"

Well me, who always wanted to raise a caterpillar, was SUPER excited. So we put it in a cage, well actually Max "played with it" (more like...well...you know what little kids do with things they find) for awhile.

He ended up going home without it. I kept it safe in a cage for him.

Later, a long time later, we looked at it and it was a cucoon!!! Woohoo! I watched it for awhile, and suddenly one day it was all of a sudden a beautiful Monarch butterfly :)

We let it go...

...and it right away landed on a flower...

...so i could take some shots of it!

This is Max's baby butterfly :)
